Through accelerated, hands-on training and focused instruction, students build the knowledge and practical skills needed to prepare for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam. Students who complete the EMT Program with an 80% or higher but do not pass the cognitive NREMT exam may qualify to retake the 14-Day Boot Camp within 18 months at no additional tuition cost. Eligible students may also receive an NREMT exam voucher and, if needed, a second voucher for a retest attempt. While tuition for the program retake is waived, travel-related expenses such as airfare, lodging, and meals are not included. Upon graduating from Unitek EMT & Paramedic, I passed the National Registry on the first try. I am proud to announce that I was offered the position of Firefighter-EMT with Memphis Fire.
